Trump Sends First Batch of Nominations for US Attorneys to Senate

Monday President Trump sent to the Senate a first batch of eight nominations for U.S. attorneys, three months after canning the federal prosecutors en masse, The New York Times reported.

Trump abruptly asked for the resignations of every U.S. attorney — and fired some others — on March 10.

The eight nominations represent just a fraction of the 93 vacancies Trump has to fill.

If confirmed, the Times reports the U.S. attorneys would serve in the following offices:

  • Three in Alabama.
  • Tennessee.
  • Ohio.
  • Utah.
  • Oklahoma.
  • Washington, D.C.

Trump has come under fire for the slow pace of nominations to replace not just the federal AGs, but to fill hundreds of positions in his administration even as the president has railed against Democrats for their obstruction of his nominations.

In the past week, Trump has nominated nearly 30 people to the federal judiciary and various federal departments, the Times reported.

How Does The New York Times Fully Know What Trump Is Going To Do? Isn’t That One Of Those Fake Reporters Of News?
