Judge Nap: ‘You’re Going to See a Different Jim Comey’

Former FBI Director James Comey is scheduled to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee in an open session on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. ET. The highly anticipated testimony comes after Comey was abruptly fired by President Donald Trump on May 9.

Comey is expected to answer questions about his relationship with Trump and the FBI’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

On “Fox & Friends” this morning, Judge Andrew Napolitano explained why he expects this will be unlike previous testimonies and statements we’ve seen from Comey.

“You’re going to see a different Jim Comey,” Napolitano said. “You’re going to see a chastened, fact-centered witness, not an FBI director lecturing the country and the committee on the laws.”

Napolitano said that Comey will not be making judgments or legal conclusions, instead stating what he heard, what he said, what he saw and what he thought.

He added he’s surprised that special counsel Robert Mueller, who is conducting an independent investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia, is allowing Comey to testify before the committee.

“The last thing in the world a prosecutor wants from one of his witnesses is to have the witness testify in another forum where the prosecutor isn’t even going to be present,” Napolitano said. “That’s what’s going to happen tomorrow.”

Oh, Hogwash! You’re Not Going To See A Different Side Of Comey! He Still Is The Same Person, That Was Hired By By Bush Administration As Deputy FBI, When Mueller Was Head Of FBI! He Still Is The Same Person, That Was Hired By Obama Administration To Head FBI! He Still Is The Same Person, That Was Fired By Trump, And There Was No Russian Interference In No USA Election! And No Trump Talking To Russia About Anything, Folk’s! It Sound’s As If Comey, Has Become A Disgruntled Ex-employee, That’s Angry, And In A League Of His Own Leaking Document’s, Into The Wrong Hand’s, Totally, Folk’s!
