Now we are getting to the truth, this gun control plan has been in the works for quite sometime, and the far left has been waiting in the wings to pounce. Sadly, they had to use the shooting of innocent children to push for their goal: disarm the law abiding citizen, and destroy the Second Amendment.
There is a hot new video at MRCTV.ORG from 1995, which shows Attorney General Eric Holder, when he was just the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.
In his remarks before the Woman’s National Democratic Club, broadcast by CSPAN 2, Holder said people should be ashamed to own guns, just the way that cigarette smokes now “cower outside of buildings” to smoke.
“What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we’ve changed our attitudes about cigarettes. You know, when I was growing up, people smoked all the time. Both my parents did. But over time, we changed the way that people thought about smoking, so now we have people who cower outside of buildings and kind of smoke in private and don’t want to admit it.” Laughter followed.
Then at the end of the clip, Holder says anti gun ads should run everyday, and that they really need to “brainwash” people to think about guns another way.
This prompted the TheBlaze’s S.E. Cupp to blow her top.
“I cannot tell you how offended I am to hear Eric Holder, or anyone, talking about shaming gun owners,” Cupp said during a Thursday broadcast of “Real News” on Blaze TV. “I feel it inside. It makes my blood boil, because it so fundamentally misunderstands the Second Amendment.”
“The idea that he would paint me with the same brush as some criminal that he’s talking about is so offensive, but that is so common because most people who talk about gun control don’t distinguish,” she added.
“They are making law abiding gun owners defend their rights, which are already on the books.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Holder’s “brainwashing” plan is working. Look at how the sales of guns have skyrocketed, not to mention the fact that in the past 18 days, 100,000 people have joined the NRA. In trying to “brainwash”, all the left has done is make gun owners dig in and defend their constitutional rights.

/ 01/11/2013Holder needs to exhibit a lot of shame over his involvement and full knowledge of operation Fast and Furious, the selling of guns to criminals which resulted in a U.S. Border Agents murder.
At the very least he needs to shut his mouth until he’s ready to take responsibility for his own negligence over the sale of those guns and the end result.

Are you all a bunch of hypocrits. You’ll go after innocent gun owners who have committed no crime, yet every person involved in Fast and Furious broke numorous U.S. and Mexico laws to sell guns illegally to criminals. Frankly I think it eliminates each and every dem that kept their mouth shut about Fast and Furious from any right whatsoever to talk about gun control.

/ 01/11/2013We have a separate rule for the “elite”. They get all the protection they want yet they condemn us the ones they are supposed to work for, and imply we are crazy for owning guns. It’s that attitude that will be their downfall. Voters hopefully this next time will remember who are planning on taking away their rights. Hmm none of that bunch of Obama butt kissers in congress though haven’t said what they will do with the guns once they are confiscated. Sell them to Mexican drug cartels perhaps? Afterall, we know the liar in chief and his lacky Holder are good at that. And when cornered, someone else takes the blame. As for the A$$clown Biden, don’t let his demeanor fool you, he’s just a big a crook as his boss, the welfare cheating president…..life protection, what a bunch of garbage….

/ 01/12/2013Have they given thought for a moment on how they are going to get the guns. If you buy a gun from a gun shop, they run a crimiinal record check and there is record you applied to buy the gun. They can get the records from the gun shops that still exist on who actually bought guns, but they can’t prove the person(s) actually still own them.
Are they going to go door to door and conduct searches? If a gun owner says they sold their gun but only knows the name of the purchaser and no address (and didn’t check any id to verify, are they going to hunt down everyone with that name and interrogate them?
Truth is they will have a hard time getting them from those who legally owned them, and a much harder time from those who didn’t.
Oh, that’s right. They’ll make it a crime to possess one. Gee, it’s already a crime from all those criminals out there, a good number of them own one or more guns. Do ya really think making it another crime will make them bring their guns in.
As Figgy and Janet can attest to, since before obama was elected in 2008 I’ve been saying this country is heading for civil war. Only instead of it being North and South, it’s going to be Red and Blue. You blues go ahead and give up your guns to show an example. Then try and take the rest!
