In Oklahoma a fifteen year old girl will soon stand trial for alledgedly persuading her married 21-year-old boyfriend to kill her father. A Logan County District Court judge has ordered Kaleigh Lynn Fryer of Guthrie, Okla., to stand trial on a first-degree murder charge.
The girl persuaded her married boyfriend into killing her father with a promise the two could live together with the girl’s mother, according to testimony in a preliminary hearing. Fryer persuaded the man, Jerry Jerone Chiles Jr., to stab Lewis Keith Fryer, 50, to death. Upi
Lewis Fryer was found stabbed to death in his Guthrie home in may and had stab wounds in his back and neck. Chiles was then arrested and he admitted to the killing and implicated Kaleigh Fryer in the plot, court records show. Chiles struck a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to first-degree murder in exchange for a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole along with his testimony against Fryer.
